My name is Oki Moore. I am from Nicaragua, Central America. I grew up in a Catholic home, and I have many siblings. I graduated from a Baptist school, and I became a Christian when I was about fifteen years old.
I moved to the United States to learn English, but God had more than that for me. He gave me a wonderful husband and two precious children. Prior to coming to Macon Road, I worked in the preschool ministry at Bellevue Baptist Church for six years. I have worked at Macon Road Baptist School as an Elementary Spanish Teacher for five years. I have a degree in International Relations with a minor in Diplomacy.
I love my job, and I love to see how children can learn. I am blessed that I can talk about God without any hesitation. I enjoy knowing not only am I working in a Christian environment, but my own children are here being educated by amazing teachers that love them and love the Lord.
Working for MRBS is a blessing. It has changed my life for the better, and it has made me a better person. My life is so different because little ones can teach you how to love others without hesitation.
